Switching to dorm cooking for college

I've been cooking for a few years now. It really started out as a necessity for when my parents worked late nights. Then I found out that I really loved it. I just moved into the dorm and I'm a little sad that I'm not going to have round the clock, unlimited access to a full kitchen. So I'm just going to have to get creative.
I went online to find some ideas about what exactly I could fix in my room with just a microwave. While I was looking online, I saw the site CLEARWIRELESSINTERNET.net and forwarded it to my parents. They need to switch to a better home internet service anyway.
I think one basic dorm cooking recipe that I can do is a baked potato. Those are easily done in a microwave, but I'm also going to save some things for the actual dorm room floor kitchen. I have some really great casseroles planned that I'll be able to eat as leftovers. I think that's going to be the best way to cook in the dorms.
